How To Get Here

Explore Ugbrooke ..the home of the Clifford family for over 500 years.

Public Opening

(CLOSED for 2020)

Ugbrooke House is usually open to the general public during our summer  season, regrettably for 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic,  the ongoing risk & the requirement for social distancing (even at 1m +) we are unable to offer the tour experience our visitors find so interesting. To ensure the safety of all our team members and visitors we have decided NOT TO OPEN for 2020, instead we look forward to welcoming you to Ugbrooke in 2021.

General notes for our visitors:  Spaces on house tours are limited, we recommend you telephone for more details  of tour times and availability  before making a special journey.

Wheelchair access is available, however we regretfully cannot accommodate mobility scooters. Photography is not permitted inside the House although we have various vantage points within the park that feature the House. Drones are not permitted on the Estate at any time.

Dogs  Our Labradors Tilly  & Peggy love sharing their garden with other well behaved dogs, but sadly dogs are not admitted into the House on tours (except guide dogs) .  Please ensure any furry friends are kept on a lead at all times in the grounds and  we ask you to clean up after your dog for the convenience of other visitors. Please also ensure dogs are not left in cars within the car park.

The Orangery

(Closed for 2020)

we look forward to welcoming you in 2021.
