Ugbrooke House is open to the general public each summer from July to September on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 12 noon to 5.30pm (dates above). Last entry – 4.00pm; gates close 5.30pm. There are three guided tours of the house each day, at 12.30, 2.00pm and 3.30pm. Wheelchair access is available, however we regretfully cannot accommodate mobility scooters. Photography is not permitted inside the House although we have various vantage points within the park that feature the House. Drones are not permitted on the Estate at any time.
The Orangery Tearooms are open for light refreshments and sweet treats on days when the house is open. Choose from a traditional Devon cream tea, a homemade quiche or any of the other delicious homemade offerings available. Please see our menu as a guide, however bear in mind as items are homemade, not all items will be available everyday.
Our Labrador Tilly loves sharing her garden with other well behaved dogs, but sadly they are not admitted into the House on tours (except guide dogs) – not even she is allowed upstairs! Please ensure any furry friends are kept on a lead at all times in the grounds and you clean up after your dog for the convenience of other visitors.
